Jefferson Davis Corridor Small Business Loan Program
VCC, in partnership with Altria and the City of Richmond, wishes to encourage small businesses to expand along or relocate to the Jefferson Davis Corridor and has created a special incentive program for this purpose—the Jefferson Davis Corridor Small Business Loan Program. The goal of the program is to help small businesses grow their enterprises and create jobs.
For eligible small businesses, the program may include a combination of loan capital, interest rate buy downs, credit enhancements, and financial capital advisory services based on the needs of the business, as well as City of Richmond Enterprise Zone incentives. The ideal small business program participant will meet all or some of the following criteria:
- Located along or willing to relocate to the Jefferson Davis Corridor
- An owner occupied facility secured by real estate or equipment collateral
- Revenues of $200,000 to $2 million
- 2 years of operation preferred and a desire to expand
- 4 or more employees
The program will run for approximately 24 months or until VCC has deployed $2 million in loans to small businesses. For more information, please contact LaTilda Owens, Small Business Consultant for VCC, at 757.812.1290 (c), 804.344.5484 (o), or email@example.com.
