Resources to Help You
The purpose of the Learning Initiative is to strengthen the capacity of the community development industry in Virginia by facilitating partnerships and collaborations, disseminating best practices, connecting organizations to resources, fostering leadership development and providing educational opportunities for practitioners.
Through the Learning Initiative, VCC is partnering with organizations across Virginia to provide training and grow new leaders in the housing and community development arenas.
Upcoming training events focus on leadership and generational change, successful partnering techniques, building collaborations, local economic revitalization and fine-tuning organizational focus in a shifting environment.
Scholarships for emerging leaders in the field are available for these events. For more information about scholarships, or for questions about these events, please contact Thia Atkinson at our Richmond Office via phone at (804) 344-5484 or e-mail her at catkinson@vccva.org.
